Ideally situated in a quiet conservation area within Crieff itself, it is just a few minutes walk from the local supermarket, the shops and the many excellent restaurants and pubs available in the town. In the opposite direction, also a few minutes from the door, is Macrosty Park with its walks and play area leading to the beautiful Lady Mary’s Walk alongside the River Earn.

Our home offers spacious accommodation with a large comfy lounge, well equipped kitchen and dining room, a utility room with a roomy hot cupboard, a king bedroom with en-suite, two twin bedrooms and a large family bathroom. There is a study with a desk which can also double as a baby room. Outside there is a large drive with ample parking for four cars and a beautifully planted private garden accessed by fourteen steps on one side or sloping shelved steps on the other.

A marvellous stay!

“We had a marvellous stay at The Hoolet, an exceptionally comfortable and spacious house in  Crieff in a very peaceful position but within easy walking distance of the centre of this interesting town.

The house itself is bright and tastefully decorated - and the thoughtful layout allows for privacy and comfort for guests with a particularly well-equipped kitchen/dining room and spacious lounge. There is also a pretty, sheltered garden.

We did not know the area but found lots to explore…Crieff, itself, is a thriving town with lovely shops and restaurants. The surrounding area is stunningly beautiful with lots of great walking and interesting historical sites/buildings. 

We feel we only touched the surface..and very much hope to be back for another visit to the Hoolet before long."

I couldn't recommend The Hoolet highly enough. The house was spotlessly clean, really well-equipped and very comfortable. It suited my family (including two children under 6) perfectly. The owners were really responsive to messages and go out of their way to leave helpful information at the house. The Hoolet is in an ideal location for exploring Crieff and we're really glad we've discovered it.

Wonderful home, much larger than the photos suggest. Spotlessly clean and a lot of nice touches like games, dvds, tea/coffee etc. Andrew & Heather were super prompt in their replies and always super accommodating and friendly. We had a wonderful time over a weekend stay. Cheers guys.

This is a beautiful, stylish home within easy walking distance of Crieff town centre. The house is spotlessly clean , very stylishly decorated, welcoming and very well equipped with everything you could need, and a lot more beside. Cannot fault the Hoolet or its hosts. We've only been back a few hours and have already recommended the Hoolet to friends, and we hope to return again too.

I stayed in the Hoolet with a few friends for a holiday over Easter. The manager of the property, Hamish, met us as we arrived and was very welcoming and helpful. The same goes for many of the locals who we bumped into around the neighbourhood and had spontaneous friendly chats with. As for the house itself, it's really lovely. The beds are comfy, everywhere was immaculately clean and all the furnishings looked brand new. My favourite parts were the social spaces like the living room, kitchen and balcony areas which were all great to hang-out in. Overall a really great place to stay. Highly recommended.
